BTS Rank No.1 Global Spotify

 

Local U.S. media reported that BTS topped all groups in the world in the Spotify streaming rankings.

"Spotify" is the world's largest music streaming service that was established in Sweden in 2006 and has about 300 million monthly users. On April 25, local media in the U.S. reported the Spotify streaming ranking "TOP10" of all groups around the world, including BTS.

 

According to reports, BTS recorded a total of 14 million streams as of April 25, ranking first among all groups in the world.

 

Following BTS, the legendary British rock group "Queen" recorded a total of 8 million streams, ranking second in the global streaming list.

 

Local media in the U.S. are reportedly surprised that BTS recorded nearly twice as much streaming as second-ranked "Queen."

 

We are also more surprised that BTS ranked first in streaming when Spotify is not currently available in Korea.

Following Queen, the legendary group "Beatles" recorded a total of 3 million streams, ranking third in streaming among groups worldwide.

Onedirection, imagedragons, maroon5 and coldplay each recorded a streaming ranking of 4,5,6 among the global groups.

It seems to show that BTS' share of the global pop music industry is growing day by day.
